PT’s Turn Bondi Pink
As the saying goes, “you have nothing without your health”. Having a job where I get to teach and educate others to live healthy lives is a gift for which I am eternally grateful. Our well being should never be taken for granted as when it is taken away it can be a long slow journey back to health.
Unfortunately breast cancer can hit anyone at any time and it really doesn’t matter how physically fit you are. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their life time and it is thus an issue that is at the forefront of health issues facing Australians.

Thanks to Brad Malyon from Frothers for his great photography - http://www.frothers.com.au
Late last year I, Kelly Gallagher (Body IQ) combined efforts with Emily Boylin (Bondi Bum) and some of Sydney’s best Personal Trainers, Shannon Ponton of the Biggest Loser and the Bondi Lifeguards to put on a huge beach training session to raise funds for the McGrath Breast Cancer Nurses. The result was an amazing beach training session airing Nationwide on Weekend Sunrise that left an imprint of fun times and pink sweat on the beach and of course some impressive funds raised for a good cause. Watch this space for an update on this event in October this year, which is forecast to be bigger and better than ever and you can of course check out some great pics at PTs Turn Bondi Pink.
